Rooms & Suites

A stay surrounded by traditional craftsmanship

Our three guest rooms in the main residence were created through the careful restoration of a former merchant’s traditional home. Named after KOZO, MITSUMATA, and GAMPI, three essential plants in washi papermaking, each room reflects the beauty and spirit of washi throughout its design, from the walls and ceilings to the furnishings, showcasing the craftsmanship of Echizen.

The newly opened “SUKU hanare” offers two additional guest rooms, KETA and KAI, named after traditional tools used in the washi-making process. Each room has its own distinct character while carrying on the story of washi, offering a peaceful space to experience the craftsmanship and spirit of Echizen.
